Analysis: Sykora took a hit to the head in Saturday's win over the Dallas Stars. In his first season with the Wild, Sykora has already missed six games because of a groin injury. He has two goals and one assist in 10 games.

Analysis: Two days earlier, Minnesota coach Todd Richards sent Sykora to the press box as a healthy scratch. He had one assist in his previous six games.

Analysis: Without Sykora, the team's entire second line is out of action as Cal Clutterbuck and Pierre-Marc Bouchard are also injured. The Wild recalled forwards Andy Hilbert and Nathan Smith from Houston on Wednesday for some more manpower. Sykora, who had 10 straight 45-point seasons, had one goal in four games this season.

Analysis: The 32-year-old ranked fourth on the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins last season with 46 points in 76 games. He had 25 goals, giving him 300 over his 14-year career. Sykora has played in the Stanley Cup finals five times.

Analysis: The 32-year-old Sykora has played for 14 seasons and was fourth on the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins last year with 46 points. A former first-round draft pick for New Jersey, Sykora has scored 300 goals in his NHL career. After losing Marian Gaborik to the New York Rangers in free agency, the Wild are looking to add more scoring punch in a faster-paced system under new coach Todd Richards.
