Jan. 25 5:15 PM PT6:15 PM MT7:15 PM CT8:15 PM ET1:15 AM GMT9:15 AM 北京时间-"Big Baby" Davis is looking to change his image. Step One: Drop the nickname. Davis, who missed the start of the season following surgery for a broken thumb he sustained in a fight with a childhood friend, was recently fined $25,000 for directing inappropriate language at a fan during a game against Detroit last Wednesday.
Analysis: "I'm in the public eye. Kids look up to me. You just can't make those kind of statements,'' he said before Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. ``It (stinks) that you have to learn this way, how to keep your emotions intact. I know who I am as a person, and hopefully my fans know who I am as a person, that I am a good guy. I'm not a troublemaker or a fighter.'' Davis went on to say that he'd like to drop his `Big Baby' nickname.

The Celtics did fine Davis an undisclosed amount.
Analysis: Davis had surgery on the thumb Tuesday morning, hours before his teammates opened their season with a victory in Cleveland. When asked if Davis would still be on a six-week timetable for his return, Celtics executive vice president Danny Ainge said: "Maybe five, fast healer."
Oct. 26 1:49 PM PT2:49 PM MT3:49 PM CT4:49 PM ET9:49 PM GMT5:49 AM 北京时间-The Boston Globe is reporting that Davis missed practice Monday afternoon with a hand injury.
