The Kings said Landry underwent the operation on Tuesday in New York and will miss approximately four to five months.
Analysis: Landry dealt with a sore wrist this past season, missing five games in January. An initial evaluation indicated surgery was not necessary. But when the pain persisted in the offseason, Landry underwent an MRI that revealed that surgery was necessary.

The league announced Landry's suspension Monday. He will sit out Tuesday's home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Analysis: The incident occurred after Omri Casspi's dunk in the fourth quarter. Sacramento's Derrick Williams shoved Utah's Rudy Gobert under the basket, and Landry ran onto the floor trying to separate the two.
