Jan. 27 11:20 AM PT12:20 PM MT1:20 PM CT2:20 PM ET19:20 GMT3:20 AM 北京时间12:20 PM MST2:20 PM EST23:20 UAE19:2014:20 ET1:20 PM CT17:20 - Rondo has torn his anterior cruciate ligament and will miss the rest of the season. The team made the announcement during Sunday's game against the Miami Heat. The Celtics had lost six in a row heading into the nationally televised game despite back-to-back triple-doubles by the point guard who had been elected to start for the East in the Feb. 17 All-Star game in Houston.
Analysis: Rondo injured his knee in Friday night's double-overtime loss in Atlanta, a game in which the Celtics blew a 27-point lead. He reported to the TD Garden on Sunday for a pregame shootaround but was taken to a hospital after complaining of knee pain. The initial report was a hyperextended knee but tests showed the ACL tear, an injury that usually takes up to a year for recovery.

Analysis: Rondo had five assists and six boards. It's four games out of five he has failed to reach double digits in assists and that should sound some concern for fantasy owners.

Analysis: Rondo will miss Friday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers and Saturday's against the Bucks in Milwaukee. He will also give up $200,000 in pay.
Nov. 29 10:59 AM PT11:59 AM MT12:59 PM CT1:59 PM ET18:59 GMT2:59 AM 北京时间11:59 AM MST1:59 PM EST22:59 UAE18:5913:59 ET12:59 PM CT16:59 - Rondo spoke to the NBA on Thursday as the league investigates whether his role in a scuffle against the Brooklyn Nets will warrant a suspension.
Analysis: Rondo told reporters after practice on Thursday: "I'm not a dirty player." He was ejected from the loss to Brooklyn after retaliating for a hard foul against Kevin Garnett with a two-handed shove on Nets forward Kris Humphries. A skirmish followed, and Rondo was kicked out of the game, along with Humphries and Brooklyn forward Gerald Wallace. Rondo was suspended twice last season for losing his temper against the referees.
Nov. 28 5:34 PM PT6:34 PM MT7:34 PM CT8:34 PM ET1:34 GMT9:34 AM 北京时间6:34 PM MST8:34 PM EST5:34 UAE (+1)01:3420:34 ET7:34 PM CT23:34 - Rondo was ejected in the second quarter of Wednesday night's game against Brooklyn when he shoved Kris Humphries after the Nets forward knocked Kevin Garnett to the ground with a hard foul.
Analysis: Rondo finished the night with three assists, ending his streak of 37 consecutive games with at least 10 that dated to March 11 of last season. That ties John Stockton for second-longest in NBA history. Magic Johnson holds the record at 46 consecutive games in the 1983-84 season.
Nov. 18 6:26 PM PT7:26 PM MT8:26 PM CT9:26 PM ET2:26 GMT10:26 AM 北京时间7:26 PM MST9:26 PM EST6:26 UAE (+1)02:2621:26 ET8:26 PM CT0:26 - Rondo finished with 10 assists in Sunday's 103-83 loss to Detroit.
Analysis: That extended his double-digit streak to 34 games, the third longest in league history, but required Boston running a bizarre small-ball offense for the last several minutes designed strictly to get him assists.
Nov. 17 8:54 PM PT9:54 PM MT10:54 PM CT11:54 PM ET4:54 GMT12:54 AM 北京时间9:54 PM MST11:54 PM EST8:54 UAE04:5423:54 ET10:54 PM CT2:54 - Rondo, who missed the team's game against Brooklyn on Thursday because of a sprained ankle, returned to action on Saturday. He finished with 20 assists and six points in the Celtics' win over the Raptors.
Analysis: Rondo easily leads the NBA with 13.4 assists per game. He also had 20 assists against Philadelphia on Nov. 9.
Nov. 14 6:17 PM PT7:17 PM MT8:17 PM CT9:17 PM ET2:17 GMT10:17 AM 北京时间7:17 PM MST9:17 PM EST6:17 UAE (+1)02:1721:17 ET8:17 PM CT0:17 - Rondo sat out the Boston Celtics' game against Brooklyn on Thursday night because of a sprained right ankle.
Analysis: Rondo left the Celtics' victory over Utah on Wednesday after he was hurt in the third quarter. Boston coach Doc Rivers says he didn't know if Rondo felt any worse, but assumed from the way he was walking earlier Thursday he wouldn't be able to go. Leandro Barbosa started at point guard in place of Rondo, the NBA leader with 12.6 assists per game.
Nov. 12 8:13 PM PT9:13 PM MT10:13 PM CT11:13 PM ET4:13 GMT12:13 AM 北京时间9:13 PM MST11:13 PM EST8:13 UAE04:1323:13 ET10:13 PM CT2:13 - Rondo had 20 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 101-95 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night.
Analysis: Rondo stretched his streak of consecutive games with 10 or more assists to 31, the longest in the NBA since John Stockton had 37 straight from Feb. 27 to Nov. 29, 1989. He missed the triple-double but fantasy owners can't be too unhappy with the effort he gave them.
Nov. 10 8:34 PM PT9:34 PM MT10:34 PM CT11:34 PM ET4:34 GMT12:34 AM 北京时间9:34 PM MST11:34 PM EST8:34 UAE04:3423:34 ET10:34 PM CT2:34 - Rondo had 10 points and 10 assists in Saturday's 96-92 win over Milwaukee, giving him 30 straight games with double-digit assists and the third-longest streak in NBA history.
Analysis: Magic Johnson has the longest streak at 46 games from April 1983 to February 1984.
Nov. 10 10:19 PM PT11:19 PM MT12:19 AM CT1:19 AM ET6:19 GMT2:19 PM 北京时间11:19 PM MST1:19 AM EST10:19 UAE06:191:19 ET12:19 AM CT4:19 - Rajon Rondo had 14 points and assisted on 20 of the Celtics' 37 baskets Friday night but Boston fell 106-100 to visiting Philadelphia.

Analysis: Rondo is averaging 15.3 points and 12.0 assists through three games this season.
Oct. 30 8:19 PM PT9:19 PM MT10:19 PM CT11:19 PM ET3:19 GMT11:19 AM 北京时间8:19 PM MST10:19 PM EST7:19 UAE (+1)03:1923:19 ET9:19 PM CT1:19 - Rondo finished with 20 points and 13 assists Tuesday in a 120-107 loss at Miami.
Analysis: Rondo led the NBA in assists last season and should dominate this category again in 2012-13, as his fantasy value makes him invaluable to owners.

NESN's Barry Pederson on the Bruins dominance

Cleveland Indians hottest team in baseball, yet remain last in attendance May 19, 2013 By AJ Kaufman 6 Comments There’s a scene in Major League where Bob Uecker, portraying the radio voice of the Indians, bemoans, “In case you haven’t noticed, and judging by the attendance you haven’t, the Indians have managed to win a few here and there, and are threatening to climb out of the cellar.” Well, that was nearly 25 years ago and fictional, but today’s reality is that Cleveland has won 17 of its last 21, and currently tops the AL Central with a mark of 25-17. No one in the majors is better than the Indians in the past month (20-7). That’s great news. The bad news, however, is the Tribe somehow remain in the MLB cellar when it comes to attendance. How can this be? The fact that I wrote on this same topic almost to the day last year – when only Tampa Bay drew fewer fans than Cleveland - may be even more troubling. Though roughly 34,000 watched a walk-off win Friday night against Seattle, perfect weather and free caps weren’t enough to draw more than 36,000 Saturday and Sunday combined. What did the Indians do in those tilts? They nabbed another walk-off win on Saturday, then the Indians crushed the great Felix Hernandez Sunday behind Justin Masterson, arguably the AL’s best pitcher right now. Fun fact: The Indians have already faced eight Cy Young Award winners in 2013: Bartolo Colon, R.A. Dickey, Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Jake Peavy, David Price, Justin Verlander and Hernandez. They have won seven out those eight matchups. Simply astounding. This offseason, the much-maligned Indians front office finally made a legitimate attempt to improve the team through free agency. I’m not talking an Ubaldo Jimenez-like trade, but rather smart acquisitions that brought veterans Mike Aviles, Michael Bourn, Jason Giambi, Scott Kazmir, Brett Myers, Mark Reynolds, Drew Stubbs and Nick Swisher to Cleveland. In addition to being a fantastic place to watch a game due to great egress and ingress, with extremely affordable tickets, the best promo lineup anywhere, Jacobs Field boasts overall, cooler, less muggy summer weather than most Midwestern locales. The team also lowered beer and hot dog prices to $4 and $3 respectively. What other professional stadium in any sport offers that? I have visited 28 of the 30 current Major League Baseball stadia, and few top The Jake when all angles are considered. I say that as a baseball fan, not an Indians fan. As for the putative “economic” angle, these are the same people who spend insane amounts of money to watch terrible football every fall and show up in decent numbers for putrid basketball in the winter. Irrespective of season length, those sports charge up to 10 times the price for a ticket, and the atmosphere isn’t half as fan-friendly as baseball. I understand fans’ lack of willingness to get on board to some degree. A decent recap of Cleveland’s decade of “rebuilding” can be read here and the team suffered a horrific collapse last August. However, in addition to all the benefits of attending games at Jacobs (now Progressive) Field, fans should also realize the team has potential and often exceeds preseason aspirations at any point without warning. Cleveland hosts the rival Detroit Tigers — heavy favorites to repeat as AL Central champs — Tuesday and Wednesday nights before hitting the road. The temperature should be pleasant at first pitch each evening so you’d expect The Jake to be full to watch the best hitter on the planet right now — but don’t count on it.
