He entered that contest averaging a modest 13.6 points and 7.3 rebounds over his previous eight games.
Dec. 25 4:06 PM PT5:06 PM MT6:06 PM CT7:06 PM ET0:06 GMT8:06 5:06 PM MST7:06 PM EST4:06 UAE (+1)01:0619:06 ET6:06 PM CTNaN: - Aldridge scored a season-high 33 points Sunday, grabbed nine rebounds and shot 15 of 19 from the field.
Analysis: It could be just the kind of breakout performance Aldridge needs. The five-time All-Star had averaged just 13.6 points in his previous eight games, shooting no better than 40 percent in six of them.
Dec. 24 9:26 PM PT10:26 PM MT11:26 PM CT12:26 AM ET5:26 GMT13:26 10:26 PM MST12:26 AM EST9:26 UAE06:260:26 ET11:26 PM CTNaN: - With three regulars out, Aldridge took advantage of his extra opportunities and had 18 points, a season high-tying 14 rebounds and a season-best six assists in Friday's win in Portland.
Analysis: It's been a disappointing season statistically for Aldridge, but at least some of that can be attributed to the personnel on the Spurs and the style they play. It would be a surprise to see Aldridge repeat his 18 and 14 on Sunday when the Spurs host the Bulls because Pau Gasol, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili will return.
Dec. 20 7:30 PM PT8:30 PM MT9:30 PM CT10:30 PM ET3:30 GMT11:30 8:30 PM MST10:30 PM EST7:30 UAE (+1)04:3022:30 ET9:30 PM CTNaN: - Aldridge had 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in Tuesday's win over Houston.

Analysis: Aldridge led all scorers with 16 first-half points. The days of monster double-doubles appear to be a thing of the past for Aldridge, but he should still be good for 18-20 points and 7-10 boards most games.
Dec. 14 11:33 AM PT12:33 PM MT1:33 PM CT2:33 PM ET19:33 GMT3:33 12:33 PM MST2:33 PM EST23:33 UAE20:3314:33 ET1:33 PM CTNaN: - Aldridge will not play Wednesday versus Boston.

Analysis: The power forward was coming off back-to-back double-doubles, therefore Monday's low total was a bit surprising. Aldridge continues to put up consistently solid but not elite numbers in San Antonio's balanced system, as he's averaging 17.5 points and 7.1 rebounds over 10 games.
Nov. 12 8:15 PM PT9:15 PM MT10:15 PM CT11:15 PM ET4:15 GMT12:15 9:15 PM MST11:15 PM EST8:15 UAE05:1523:15 ET10:15 PM CTNaN: - Aldridge posted his second straight double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds Saturday in a win at Houston.

Analysis: Aldridge began November by averaging 19.7 points and shooting 52.4 percent from the field over a three-game stretch. The All-Star forward has been putting up similar numbers to his first season in San Antonio, when he averaged 18.1 points and 8.5 rebounds, but won't be the fantasy force he was during his days in Portland.
Nov. 5 8:46 PM PT9:46 PM MT10:46 PM CT11:46 PM ET3:46 GMT11:46 8:46 PM MST10:46 PM EST7:46 UAE (+1)04:4623:46 ET9:46 PM CTNaN: - Aldridge had 19 points and Kawhi Leonard added 14 in Saturday's loss to the Clippers.

Analysis: Even though this seems very early in the season for it, coach Gregg Popovich has long been known to give his star players occasional games off. San Antonio is playing for a second straight night Sunday. Aldridge should be back Tuesday to play against Utah.
Oct. 28 9:47 AM PT10:47 AM MT11:47 AM CT12:47 PM ET16:47 GMT0:47 9:47 AM MST11:47 AM EST20:47 UAE18:4712:47 ET11:47 AM CTNaN: - Aldridge was limited to 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting Thursday in Portland and grabbed just five rebounds.

Analysis: The San Antonio Express-News reported Wednesday that the Spurs are "open to trading the former (University of Texas star) should the right package surface."
Oct. 18 12:52 PM PT1:52 PM MT2:52 PM CT3:52 PM ET19:52 GMT3:52 12:52 PM MST2:52 PM EST23:52 UAE21:5215:52 ET2:52 PM CTNaN: - The Spurs reportedly may want to trade Aldridge, who is rumored to be unhappy with his role of being the No. 2 scoring option behind Kawhi Leonard.
Analysis: ESPN.com reported that Aldridge is unlikely to finish the season with the Spurs as the relationship isn't working out. Aldridge departed the Trail Blazers as a free agent following the 2014-15 season and signed with the Spurs believing he would be the center of San Antonio's offense. That didn't occur last season as Leonard's level of play took another strong step forward. Leonard led the team in scoring at 21.2 points per game while Aldridge averaged 18.0.
