Analysis: Speaking to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Friday because the trade has not been announced, the person says Phoenix will send guards Kendall Marshall, Shannon Brown and Malcolm Lee to Washington so the deal will work financially. The Wizards are expected to waive those three players. Okafor has been sidelined indefinitely by a herniated disk in his neck.

Analysis: The injury to Okafor is particularly disconcerting. The team offered no timetable for his return, although Okafor said he was ``positive'' he'll play this season.
