Analysis: He played more than 30 minutes for the first time this season, and converted five of eight field goals. With his 4.6 points per game average, however, he has very little fantasy value.
July 21 8:33 AM PT9:33 AM MT10:33 AM CT11:33 AM ET15:33 GMT23:33 8:33 AM MST10:33 AM EST19:33 UAE17:3311:33 ET10:33 AM CT14:33 - The Dallas Mavericks have signed Jefferson as a possible replacement for Vince Carter off the bench.
Analysis: Terms of the contract announced Monday weren't released, but it is reportedly a one-year deal for the veteran minimum of $1.4 million. Jefferson started 78 games for Utah last year but figures to be used as a 3-point threat coming off the bench. That was the role last season for Carter, who signed with Memphis as a free agent. The 34-year-old Jefferson has averaged 14.5 points and 4.5 rebounds over his 13-year career.
