Analysis: It was Wallace's 30th career ejection, according to STATS, LLC. The temperamental forward has been called for more than 300 techs in his career, leading the league seven times, though he said before the season he was more mellow now after a two-year retirement.

Analysis: The 38-year-old Wallace last played for the Boston Celtics in the 2009-10 season. Terms of his contract signed Wednesday were not announced. Wallace joins an aging bench that includes Kurt Thomas, who turns 40 on Thursday, 39-year-old Jason Kidd and 38-year-old Marcus Camby.
