(TSX / STATS) -- CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Derrick Rose was ruled out of Saturday's game against the Orlando Magic because of a sprained left ankle suffered in Friday's win over Milwaukee.

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said he didn't know when Rose would return. Jose Calderon started in his place.

Also, Orlando point guard Elfrid Payton (strained left hamstring) missed Saturday's game. Magic coach Frank Vogel said an MRI exam showed Payton sustained a "mild to moderate" hamstring strain Friday against Brooklyn and would miss some games.

Vogel said Magic forward Aaron Gordon (sore left ankle) was unlikely to play against the Cavaliers, but would test his ankle before the game.
