Sep. 8 4:31 PM PT5:31 PM MT6:31 PM CT7:31 PM ET12:31 AM GMT8:31 AM 北京时间-Lowrie had a setback with his injured wrist at Triple-A Pawtucket but is still hoping to return to the majors this season, the Boston Globe reported.
Analysis: After surgery in late April and problems in his return after the All-Star break, Lowrie has been limited to 19 games this year, hitting .143 with one homer and seven RBIs. Analysis: Lowrie was to start at shortstop Saturday and bat eighth in Boston's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The 25-year-old Lowrie played much of last season with a sore left wrist. He tried to rehabilitate it during the offseason, but went on the disabled list April 13, then had surgery April 21. Lowrie was activated off the disabled list on July 8. He went 11 for 50 in 15 minor league rehab games at three different levels.

Mar. 14 3:25 PM PT4:25 PM MT5:25 PM CT6:25 PM ET11:25 PM GMT7:25 AM 北京时间-An injury to Julio Lugo could ensure that Lowrie will be Boston's starting shortstop on opening day.
Analysis: Lugo was limited to 82 games last year. He hit .268 and was on the disabled list with a strained left quadriceps muscle from July 12 to the end of the season. His injury opened a door for Lowrie, who batted .258 in 81 games as a rookie and a surprising .364 in the AL division series.
