Because he's the Nationals' only left-handed starter, Gonzalez could make the team's rotation for the playoffs, but he has gotten some stiff competition from Tanner Roark.

Analysis: Washington manager Matt Williams also made some lineup adjustments. Michael Taylor is starting in center field and batting leadoff. Tyler Moore is playing first base and hitting cleanup.
