Analysis: The stalwart of the Angels' rotation since 2006 doesn't yet have a contract for next season, but he has strung together a series of solid starts down the stretch. Weaver was removed after just 71 pitches when his back tightened up on a 90-degree night in Anaheim, but he doesn't think the injury will stop him from pitching Sunday in the Angels' season finale.

The 33-year-old right-hander joined Chuck Finley (165 wins) as the only pitchers in franchise history with 150.
Analysis: Weaver went six innings, giving up four runs on six hits, while striking out six and walking two. The 10-year veteran has beaten the Rangers more than any other club (18). Weaver has also won his last five decisions against Texas and has a 2.41 ERA in the last nine matchups. On Monday, he'll face an A's team he has a 7.36 in three meetings with since June.

Analysis: The 33-year-old turned back the clock to register only his second shutout since 2013. Weaver remains a risky fantasy play despite this dominant performance, as he still sports a 5.10 ERA and had allowed 11 earned runs in losing his two previous starts.
