Analysis: However, Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said that Lohse's start could be pushed back to next Monday or Tuesday at home against the Pirates.

Analysis: Lohse allowed six hits and fell to 0-1. He has a 2.08 ERA in two starts.
Mar. 25 3:51 PM PT4:51 PM MT5:51 PM CT6:51 PM ET18:51 ET22:51 GMT6:51 CST3:51 PM MST5:51 PM EST6:21 PM VEN2:51 UAE (+1)4:51 PM CT-Lohse and the Brewers completed a three-year contract worth $33 million on Monday, a big boost to their suspect rotation exactly a week before the season opener at home against Colorado.
Analysis: Lohse enjoyed his best season in the majors last year, going 16-3 with a 2.86 ERA and helping the St. Louis Cardinals earn an NL wild-card spot. When he hit the free-agent market, however, it took nearly the entire offseason for the 34-year-old right-hander to find a new team. He turned down a $13.3 million qualifying offer from the Cardinals in November, so under baseball's new labor agreement most major league clubs had to be willing to forfeit a first-round pick.
