Tate was signed Tuesday, a week after being cut by the Bengals. He spent the previous five seasons in Cincinnati, where he was the team's primary returner.
Analysis: In Buffalo, Tate gets the opportunity to take over the return job ahead of veteran running back Reggie Bush, who was signed last month. Tate has returned two kickoffs and one punt for touchdowns, and has 57 catches for 901 yards and six touchdowns.

Analysis: Tate played in 80 games during five seasons with the Bengals, starting seven times. His main contribution was as a kick returner. He returned 149 punts for 1,411 yards, both club records. He also returned 145 kickoffs.

Analysis: Tate has spent the last five seasons with Cincinnati. Last season, he became the franchise's career leader in punt returns (153) and punt return yards (1,411). He has averaged 9.2 yards per return. Tate also has 33 receptions for 469 yards and three touchdowns as a Bengal, including a 55-yard TD against Kansas City last season.
