Latest News
Nov. 16 2:41 PM PT3:41 PM MT4:41 PM CT5:41 PM ET10:41 PM GMT6:41 AM 北京时间-Edwards was yanked from a 41-17 loss to Tennessee on Sunday after going 18 of 28 for 185 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
Analysis: Edwards was struggling before the interception, which was returned for a touchdown with 2:54 left. He missed a wide-open Terrell Owens at one point, and Bills coach Dick Jauron didn't give a definitive answer when asked if Edwards will start at Jacksonville on Sunday. Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick has struggled, too, so there's not much fantasy value here regardless.
Nov. 11 12:08 PM PT1:08 PM MT2:08 PM CT3:08 PM ET8:08 PM GMT4:08 AM 北京时间-The Bills are going back to Edwards, who will start against Tennessee this weekend after missing two games with a concussion.
Analysis: Coach Dick Jauron said Wednesday that Edwards has "earned the right" to start after the offense continued to struggle under backup Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Bills (3-5) opened the season 1-4 under Edwards, before he sustained his second concussion in a little over a year in a 16-13 overtime win at the New York Jets.
Oct. 28 3:01 PM PT4:01 PM MT5:01 PM CT6:01 PM ET11:01 PM GMT7:01 AM 北京时间-Edwards' first priority is getting healthy before he'll worry about reclaiming his job as the Bills' starting quarterback.
Analysis: Ryan Fitzpatrick has started the last two games for the Bills in place of Edwards.
Oct. 18 1:19 PM PT2:19 PM MT3:19 PM CT4:19 PM ET9:19 PM GMT5:19 AM 北京时间-Edwards expects to be cleared to play this weekend after missing nearly a month recovering from a concussion.
Analysis: Edwards says he feels rested after practicing Monday in Buffalo's first workout since a four-day break because of the bye week. Edwards feels "ready to go'' but hasn't been informed if he'll start Sunday when Buffalo plays at Tennessee. Edwards is working with Buffalo's top receivers, Terrell Owens and Lee Evans, an indication he's prepared to reclaim his job. Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick helped the Bills go 2-1 after Edwards was hurt in a win at the Jets on Oct. 18.
Oct. 12 12:27 PM PT1:27 PM MT2:27 PM CT3:27 PM ET8:27 PM GMT4:27 AM 北京时间-Edwards went 16 for 31 for 152 yards and an interception in Buffalo's 6-3 loss to Cleveland.
Analysis: Edwards has not reached 200 yards passing in any of his last three games, throwing five interceptions and one touchdown during that span.
Sep. 22 10:20 PM PT11:20 PM MT12:20 AM CT1:20 AM ET6:20 AM GMT2:20 PM 北京时间-Edwards finished 21 of 31 for 230 yards with two touchdowns and an interception Sunday in a 33-20 home win over Tampa Bay.
Analysis: Edwards has been very efficient through two weeks, averaging 221 yards and completing 64.3 percent of his throws. He has four touchdown passes and seemed to make a connection with Terrell Owens, who caught his first TD as a Bill. Edwards is a solid fantasy backup, with the potential to grow into an occasional starter.
Sep. 16 4:04 PM PT5:04 PM MT6:04 PM CT7:04 PM ET12:04 AM GMT8:04 AM 北京时间-Edwards completed 15 of 25 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns as the Bills lost their season opener to the Patriots 25-24 on Monday night.
Analysis: Edwards had a strong day despite the final outcome, outperforming Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for much of the game. Though he came into this season with an equal number of interceptions and touchdowns in his first two years in the NFL, Edwards figures to benefit greatly from the arrival of Terrell Owens in Buffalo. With Owens and Lee Evans as his primary receivers, Edwards should be able to find holes in defenses in 2009.
