Analysis: With Cleveland, Bowe will become a No. 1 receiver and fill the void created when former Pro Bowler Josh Gordon was suspended for one year for multiple violations of the NFL's drug policy. A big, athletic receiver, Bowe had 60 catches for 754 yards last season but no touchdowns. Bowe led the league with 15 TDs in 2010 and has averaged 66 catches per season.
|Mar. 12 12:30 PM PT1:30 PM MT2:30 PM CT3:30 PM ET19:30 GMT3:30 AM 北京时间12:30 PM MST2:30 PM EST1:30 PM CT23:30 UAE15:30 ET18:30 - The Chiefs released the volatile Bowe, unwilling to take the $14 million hit against the salary cap that he carried this season. Bowe, a fantasy stud early in his Chiefs career, will almost certainly be snatched up quickly as a free agent.
Analysis: Bowe enjoyed success on the field, but there were constant stumbles and fumbles away from it. He made questionable comments to a magazine a few years ago about womanizing that allegedly occurred at team hotels. He then offered an apology that went awry when he referred to the Hunt family that owns the Chiefs as "the Clarks" - a reference to Clark Hunt, its chief executive. Bowe was also arrested on speeding and possession of marijuana.
