Nov. 16 2:39 PM PT3:39 PM MT4:39 PM CT5:39 PM ET10:39 PM GMT6:39 AM 北京时间-Cassel threw for 216 yards after completing 19 for 34 passes in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: Cassel has just 10 TD passes and a QB rating of 75.3 and Chiefs fans are expecting more of the former Patriots QB.
Nov. 10 9:45 PM PT10:45 PM MT11:45 PM CT12:45 AM ET5:45 AM GMT1:45 PM 北京时间-Cassel threw for 262 yards and two scores - both to newcomer Chris Chambers - in Sunday's 24-21 loss to Jacksonville.
Analysis: Cassel completed 23 of 39 passes, but was sacked three times.
Oct. 26 1:59 PM PT2:59 PM MT3:59 PM CT4:59 PM ET9:59 PM GMT5:59 AM 北京时间-Cassel was only 10 for 25 for 97 yards and threw three interceptions behind an injury-weakened line allowed him to be sacked four times in the Chiefs' 37-7 loss to San Diego on Sunday.
Analysis: Cassel had thrown six touchdowns without being picked off in his previous four games, but this was an ugly performance. His first year in Kansas City isn't going as expected, but he's far from the only culprit in the Chiefs' misery.
Oct. 19 10:47 AM PT11:47 AM MT12:47 PM CT1:47 PM ET6:47 PM GMT2:47 AM 北京时间-Cassel's streak of throwing touchdown passes ended in Sunday's 14-6 win over Washington. He finished 17 of 32 for 186 yards.
Analysis: Cassel had thrown seven touchdowns and two interceptions in the season's first four games and had two TDs in three straight games.
Oct. 12 10:35 AM PT11:35 AM MT12:35 PM CT1:35 PM ET6:35 PM GMT2:35 AM 北京时间-Cassel threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns in Kansas City's 26-20 overtime loss to Dallas on Sunday.

Oct. 5 12:45 PM PT1:45 PM MT2:45 PM CT3:45 PM ET8:45 PM GMT4:45 AM 北京时间-Cassel completed 15 of 32 passes for 147 yards and two TDs in Sunday's 27-16 loss to the Giants.
Analysis: Cassel has thrown for two touchdowns in each of his last two games, but has passed for just 217 total yards in those contests.
Sep. 28 7:40 PM PT8:40 PM MT9:40 PM CT10:40 PM ET3:40 AM GMT11:40 AM 北京时间-Cassel completed 14 of 18 passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs' 34-14 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Analysis: The yardage total was paltry, but the Chiefs have to be encouraged that Cassel was very accurate and didn't turn the ball over, especially after his forgettable debut in which he went 24 for 39 with one TD and two interceptions. Cassel could have a hard time duplicating Sunday's performance next week against the Giants, allowing a league-low 124.0 passing yards per game.
Sep. 13 8:04 AM PT9:04 AM MT10:04 AM CT11:04 AM ET4:04 PM GMT12:04 AM 北京时间-Cassel, making his long-awaited Kansas City debut after being out a month with a knee injury, completed 24 of 39 passes for 241 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Kansas City's 13-10 loss to Oakland.
Analysis: Cassel injured his left knee in a preseason game on Aug. 29 and sat out the season opener at Baltimore on Sunday.
Sep. 9 11:47 AM PT12:47 PM MT1:47 PM CT2:47 PM ET7:47 PM GMT3:47 AM 北京时间-Cassel practiced for the second time this week, wearing a brace on his left knee as he went through individual drills Wednesday. His status for Sunday's season opener at Baltimore? Still up in the air.
Analysis: Unable to participate fully in practice, Cassel is listed as questionable against the Ravens and coach Todd Haley was again evasive on whether his $63 million quarterback would be available. "He was out there, which was good. That's better than not being out there," Haley said. Cassel was injured in Kansas City's second preseason game on Aug. 29.
Sep. 7 11:24 AM PT12:24 PM MT1:24 PM CT2:24 PM ET7:24 PM GMT3:24 AM 北京时间-Cassel took part in practice Monday with a brace on his injured left knee. His status for Kansas City's season opener at Baltimore on Sunday was still unclear.
Analysis: Cassel, who signed a six-year contract for a guaranteed $28 million, had not been seen on the practice field since hurting his knee on the third play of the preseason game against Seattle on Aug. 29. Coach Todd Haley was evasive if Cassel would play on Sunday, saying only it was a positive sign he made it to the practice field and that his progress would be closely watched throughout the week.
Aug. 31 10:03 AM PT11:03 AM MT12:03 PM CT1:03 PM ET6:03 PM GMT2:03 AM 北京时间-Accprding to Yahoo! Sports, Cassel could miss 2-4 weeks.
Analysis: Cassel appeared to hurt his left leg Saturday in a preseason game against Seattle. Tyler Thigpen would start the opener for the Chiefs if Cassel can't.
Aug. 29 4:40 PM PT5:40 PM MT6:40 PM CT7:40 PM ET12:40 AM GMT8:40 AM 北京时间-Cassel has left the field favoring his left leg after being sacked on the third play of Kansas City's game against Seattle.
Analysis: Cassel was sacked by Brandon Mebane on the first passing play. He appeared to have a problem with his left leg, but came off the field unassisted before being replaced by Tyler Thigpen. Cassel signed a long-term contract with a guarantee of $28 million after being acquired in an offseason trade with New England.
Jun. 14 10:57 AM PT11:57 AM MT12:57 PM CT1:57 PM ET6:57 PM GMT2:57 AM 北京时间-A person close to the negotiations says the Kansas City Chiefs have signed Cassel to a multiyear deal.
Analysis: The person, who requested anonymity because no official announcement had been made, did not describe terms of the deal to The Associated Press. The signing was first reported by the Kansas City Star. The 27-year-old Cassel was obtained from New England during the offseason along with linebacker Mike Vrabel for Kansas City's second-round pick in 2010.
Feb. 28 10:20 AM PT11:20 AM MT12:20 PM CT1:20 PM ET6:20 PM GMT2:20 AM 北京时间-Kansas City acquired Cassel and Mike Vrabel from Patriots for second-round draft pick.
Analysis: Cassel had been the backup in New England when Tom Brady, a two-time Super Bowl MVP, was injured minutes into last season's opener. Cassel hadn't started a game since high school but helped lead the Patriots to an 11-5 record.
Feb. 5 1:22 PM PT2:22 PM MT3:22 PM CT4:22 PM ET9:22 PM GMT5:22 AM 北京时间-New England placed the franchise tag on Cassel on Thursday, meaning the quarterback remains a free agent, but the Patriots can match any offer made by another team or allow him to sign with that team in exchange for two first-round draft picks.
Analysis: If and when he signs the one-year franchise tag designation worth $14.65 million for 2009, Cassel will be under contract to the Patriots, who could keep him or trade him. Cassel's stock soared last season after he took over for Tom Brady, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in the opening game. He helped the Patriots to an 11-5 record, but they missed the playoffs.
