Latest News
Nov. 16 12:08 PM PT1:08 PM MT2:08 PM CT3:08 PM ET8:08 PM GMT4:08 AM 北京时间-Welker had nine catches for 94 yards in the Patriots' 35-34 loss to Indianapolis on Sunday night.
Analysis: While it was a bit disappointing to see Welker fall just short of 100 yards - and get held out of the end zone for a second straight week - expect a big week from him against the Jets. New York will likely shadow Randy Moss with standout cornerback Darrelle Revis, leaving Welker a potentially frequent option for Tom Brady.
Nov. 9 2:23 PM PT3:23 PM MT4:23 PM CT5:23 PM ET10:23 PM GMT6:23 AM 北京时间-Welker had nine catches for 84 yards in New England's 27-17 win over Miami - Welker's former team - on Sunday.
Analysis: Welker had topped 100 yards and scored at least one touchdown in each of the previous two games, so this may have been considered a disappointing performance by some. But with Tom Brady back in form, Welker remains a valuable option - especially in point-per-reception leagues. He's fifth in the NFL with 55 catches.
Oct. 26 1:41 PM PT2:41 PM MT3:41 PM CT4:41 PM ET9:41 PM GMT5:41 AM 北京时间-Welker racked up 10 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown as the Patriots blew out Tampa Bay 35-7 on Sunday in London.
Analysis: That gives Welker 343 yards and four touchdowns in the last three games, and with Tom Brady back on track he turns into a must-play every week once again. That is, every week after the Patriots' bye this week.
Oct. 19 12:52 PM PT1:52 PM MT2:52 PM CT3:52 PM ET8:52 PM GMT4:52 AM 北京时间-Welker had eight catches for a season-high 150 yards in the Patriots' 59-0 record rout of visiting Tennessee. The Patriots (4-2) gained a club-record 619 yards and the 59-point margin matched the largest since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970.
Analysis: Welker had four 100-yard performances in each of his first two seasons in New England, but averaged 76 yards in his three previous games this season.
Oct. 12 12:35 PM PT1:35 PM MT2:35 PM CT3:35 PM ET8:35 PM GMT4:35 AM 北京时间-Welker caught eight passes for 86 yards and one TD in Sunday's overtime loss to Denver.
Analysis: Welker, who missed two games earlier this season because of a knee injury, has 26 receptions for 227 yards in the three games he has played in. Next Sunday, the Patriots host the Titans, who are 31st against the pass (287.6 yards per game) and have yielded 13 passing TDs.
Sep. 20 8:09 AM PT9:09 AM MT10:09 AM CT11:09 AM ET4:09 PM GMT12:09 AM 北京时间-Welker is back for the Patriots after missing two games with a knee injury.
Analysis: Welker caught 12 passes in his only game before Sunday was among New England's active players against the Baltimore Ravens.
Sep. 16 3:53 PM PT4:53 PM MT5:53 PM CT6:53 PM ET11:53 PM GMT7:53 AM 北京时间-Welker caught 12 passes for 93 yards as the Patriots edged the Bills 25-24 in their season opener Monday night.
Analysis: Welker often gets overlooked because teammate Randy Moss puts up some of the best receiving statistics in the NFL, but Welker is very valuable to the Patriots' offense. He's caught at least 111 passes for at least 1100 yards in each of his two seasons with New England.
