Jan. 24, 20178:31 AM PT9:31 AM MT10:31 AM CT11:31 AM ET16:31 GMT12:31 AM 北京时间9:31 AM MST11:31 AM EST10:31 AM CT20:31 UAE11:31 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger told 93.7 The Fan on Tuesday that he is not ready to commit to playing next season after the Pittsburgh Steelers' 36-17 loss to the New England Patriots last Sunday in the AFC Championship Game.
Analysis: The two-time Super Bowl champion and five-time Pro Bowler implied in the radio interview that he is considering retirement. "I'm going to take this offseason to evaluate, to consider all options," Roethlisberger told 93.7 The Fan. "To consider health, and family and things like that and just kind of take some time away to evaluate next season, if there's going to be a next season."
Jan. 22, 20178:08 PM PT9:08 PM MT10:08 PM CT11:08 PM ET4:08 GMT12:08 AM 北京时间9:08 PM MST11:08 PM EST10:08 PM CT8:08 UAE23:08 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 31 of 47 for 314 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 36-17 loss to the New England Patriots. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: Big Ben registered his fourth 300-yard postseason game and moved past Dan Marino into sixth place on the all-time postseason yardage list. In his final four games, including playoffs, Roethlisberger had six TD passes and six interceptions.
Jan. 15, 20178:11 PM PT9:11 PM MT10:11 PM CT11:11 PM ET4:11 GMT12:11 AM 北京时间9:11 PM MST11:11 PM EST10:11 PM CT8:11 UAE23:11 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger was 20 of 31 for 224 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 18-16 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: This has to be considered a disappointing result for fantasy owners. Roethlisberger may need to put up bigger numbers if the Steelers are to upset New England next weekend.
Jan. 9, 201712:11 PM PT1:11 PM MT2:11 PM CT3:11 PM ET20:11 GMT4:11 AM 北京时间1:11 PM MST3:11 PM EST2:11 PM CT0:11 UAE (+1)15:11 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger was out of his walking boot Monday, a sign he'll be ready to go for this weekend's AFC Divisional Playoff at Kansas City.
Analysis: "(An MRI) showed I aggravated an old foot fracture but nothing severe," Roethlisberger told reporters about the injury he sustained late in Sunday's 30-12 win over Miami in the wild-card round. One of the league's toughest players, it would have taken a serious injury to have Pittsburgh's franchise quarterback miss such an important game.
Jan. 8, 20171:00 PM PT2:00 PM MT3:00 PM CT4:00 PM ET21:00 GMT5:00 AM 北京时间2:00 PM MST4:00 PM EST3:00 PM CT1:00 UAE (+1)16:00 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger was 13 of 18 for 197 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 30-12 win over the Miami Dolphins. He threw two interceptions, didn't fumble and was sacked one time. Roethlisberger added 10 rushing yards on four carries.
Analysis: Big Ben had a relatively easy day in a game the Steelers controlled right from the start, but figures to have more of a challenge next week in Kansas City - if he plays. Roethlisberger, who had a walking boot on his right foot after Sunday's game, is averaging 238 yards with a 9-to-8 touchdown-to-interception ratio on the road, numbers far inferior to his home splits of 301.7 passing yards per game, 22 TDs and seven INTs. He says he'll be OK to face the Chiefs.
Jan. 1, 20177:56 AM PT8:56 AM MT9:56 AM CT10:56 AM ET15:56 GMT11:56 PM 北京时间8:56 AM MST10:56 AM EST9:56 AM CT19:56 UAE10:56 ETNaN: - As expected, the Steelers made Roethlisberger inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Analysis: Locked into its playoff position, Pittsburgh has nothing to play for against Cleveland so Mike Tomlin isn't risking an injury to one of his star players in a meaningless game.
Dec. 25, 20164:45 PM PT5:45 PM MT6:45 PM CT7:45 PM ET0:45 GMT8:45 AM 北京时间5:45 PM MST7:45 PM EST6:45 PM CT4:45 UAE (+1)19:45 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 24 of 33 for 279 yards and threw three touchdown passes Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 31-27 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He threw two interceptions, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: Big Ben now has 20 TD passes and five INTs in six home games, averaging 319.2 yards through the air. It's been a different story on the road, where he's averaged 238 yards with nine TDs and eight interceptions. Pittsburgh's regular-season finale is at home against the lowly Browns, but Roethlisberger is unlikely to play a full game considering the Steelers clinched the AFC North title on Christmas.
Dec. 18, 20163:16 PM PT4:16 PM MT5:16 PM CT6:16 PM ET23:16 GMT7:16 AM 北京时间4:16 PM MST6:16 PM EST5:16 PM CT3:16 UAE (+1)18:16 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 21 of 36 for 286 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 24-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: Roethlisberger isn't having a vintage December, having thrown for a modest 795 yards and three touchdowns with four interceptions in three games this month. Also keep in mind he struggled against next week's opponent, Baltimore, in November. The Ravens held Big Ben to a season-low 51.1 completion rate with one touchdown and one pick.
Dec. 11, 20161:44 PM PT2:44 PM MT3:44 PM CT4:44 PM ET21:44 GMT5:44 AM 北京时间2:44 PM MST4:44 PM EST3:44 PM CT1:44 UAE (+1)16:44 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 17 of 31 for 220 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 27-20 win over the Buffalo Bills. He threw three interceptions, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: This was one of Roethlisberger's worst performances in a long while, and it came in a week many fantasy owners really needed him.
Dec. 4, 20165:44 PM PT6:44 PM MT7:44 PM CT8:44 PM ET1:44 GMT9:44 AM 北京时间6:44 PM MST8:44 PM EST7:44 PM CT5:44 UAE (+1)20:44 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 24 of 36 for 289 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 24-14 win over the New York Giants. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times.
Analysis: It was another strong performance at Heinz Field for Roethlisberger, who has averaged 327.2 passing yards in five home games with 17 TDs and three INTs. However, the Steelers' next two games are on the road - at Buffalo and Cincinnati. He has eight TDs and five picks away from home.
Nov. 24, 20168:12 PM PT9:12 PM MT10:12 PM CT11:12 PM ET4:12 GMT12:12 AM 北京时间9:12 PM MST11:12 PM EST10:12 PM CT8:12 UAE23:12 ETNaN: - Ben Roethlisberger was 14 of 20 for 221 yards and threw three touchdown passes Thursday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 28-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: Roethlisberger had little trouble with the Colts' undermanned secondary and rebounded from a disappointing game last week against Cleveland. He was very efficient, as three of his 14 completions went for TDs and he averaged 11 yards per attempt. Roethlisberger next gets the Giants at home, where he's thrown 15 TDs against two picks in four games.
Nov. 20, 20162:54 PM PT3:54 PM MT4:54 PM CT5:54 PM ET22:54 GMT6:54 AM 北京时间3:54 PM MST5:54 PM EST4:54 PM CT2:54 UAE (+1)17:54 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger was 23 of 36 for 167 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Sunday in the Steelers' 24-9 win over the Browns. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: It’s the first time this season that Roethlisberger has failed to throw either a TD or an INT.
Nov. 13, 20166:38 PM PT7:38 PM MT8:38 PM CT9:38 PM ET2:38 GMT10:38 AM 北京时间7:38 PM MST9:38 PM EST8:38 PM CT6:38 UAE (+1)21:38 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger was 37 of 46 for 408 yards and threw three touchdown passes Sunday in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 35-30 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time.
Analysis: Roethlisberger looked more like himself after completing 23 of 45 passes for 264 yards with a touchdown and a pick in his return from injury last week.
Nov. 1, 20169:26 AM PT10:26 AM MT11:26 AM CT12:26 PM ET16:26 GMT12:26 AM 北京时间9:26 AM MST11:26 AM EST10:26 AM CT20:26 UAE12:26 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger was back under center but largely ineffective in his quick return from knee surgery. The Pittsburgh quarterback completed just 23 of 41 passes for 264 yards with one touchdown and one interception as the Steelers lost 21-14 at Baltimore, though he did run for a score.
Analysis: Big Ben didn't appear to be 100 percent just three weeks after having surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. Assuming he's able to put in a full week of practice next time around, he should fare better in Sunday's home game with surging Dallas.
Oct. 19, 20168:07 AM PT9:07 AM MT10:07 AM CT11:07 AM ET15:07 GMT11:07 PM 北京时间8:07 AM MST10:07 AM EST10:07 AM CT19:07 UAE11:07 ETNaN: - Roethlisberger could miss four to six weeks after having surgery for a torn meniscus in his left knee, according to an ESPN report.
Analysis: The report says Roethlisberger and the Steelers were informed of the timetable by orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Bradley based on what the doctor saw when he performed the arthroscopic procedure Monday. Big Ben originally was told to expect to miss two to three weeks. At the very least, Roethlisberger will miss Sunday's game against the Patriots while Landry Jones gets the start.
Oct. 16, 201611:07 AM PT12:07 PM MT1:07 PM CT2:07 PM ET18:07 GMT2:07 AM 北京时间11:07 AM MST1:07 PM EST1:07 PM CT22:07 UAE14:07 ET17:07 - Roethlisberger has been officially ruled out of Sunday's game against the Patriots after undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus in his left knee.
Analysis: Coach Mike Tomlin would not speculate on how long Roethlisberger would be sidelined, though Pittsburgh does have a bye next week so that would give him 16 days between the injury and his next likely practice on Nov. 3. Landry Jones will start in place of Roethlisberger, whose 16 touchdown passes lead the NFL.
Oct. 9, 20161:59 PM PT2:59 PM MT3:59 PM CT4:59 PM ET20:59 GMT4:59 AM 北京时间1:59 PM MST3:59 PM EST3:59 PM CT0:59 UAE (+1)16:59 ET19:59 - Roethlisberger went 34 of 47 for 380 yards with four TDs and no interceptions in a 31-13 victory over the Jets on Sunday.
Analysis: Roethlisberger has nine TD passes and no interceptions as the Steelers have piled up 74 points and 869 yards in his their two last games, including a 43-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. "Ben has been unbelievable as a leader ... making plays," left tackle Alejandro Villanueva said. "All credit to the offense should be given to him."
Oct. 2, 20168:21 PM PT9:21 PM MT10:21 PM CT11:21 PM ET3:21 GMT11:21 AM 北京时间8:21 PM MST10:21 PM EST10:21 PM CT7:21 UAE (+1)23:21 ET2:21 - Roethlisberger threw for five touchdowns and completed 22 of 27 passes for an even 300 yards to lead the Steelers to Sunday night's 43-14 rout of Kansas City.
Analysis: Big Ben bounced back from a pair of mediocre performances to shred a Kansas City defense that intercepted the Jets' Ryan Fitzpatrick six times a week ago. Roethlisberger has now thrown three or more TD passes in three of Pittsburgh's first four games and is tied for the NFL lead with 11.
Sep. 25, 20166:00 PM PT7:00 PM MT8:00 PM CT9:00 PM ET1:00 GMT9:00 AM 北京时间6:00 PM MST8:00 PM EST8:00 PM CT5:00 UAE (+1)21:00 ET0:00 - Roethlisberger was 24 of 44 for 259 with an interception in Sunday's 34-3 loss to Philadelphia.
Analysis: Though Roethlisberger has thrown six TDs, he's been picked four times in three games. That's the risk you take from a fantasy standpoint with Big Ben.
Sep. 18, 20161:41 PM PT2:41 PM MT3:41 PM CT4:41 PM ET20:41 GMT4:41 AM 北京时间1:41 PM MST3:41 PM EST3:41 PM CT0:41 UAE (+1)16:41 ET19:41 - Roethlisberger threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns to offset a pair of interceptions and the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 24-16 on Sunday.
Analysis: Roethlisberger has thrown three TDs in each of the first two games while throwing for 559 yards. With those numbers, fantasy owners can live with the three INTs.
Sep. 12, 20167:06 PM PT8:06 PM MT9:06 PM CT10:06 PM ET2:06 GMT10:06 AM 北京时间7:06 PM MST9:06 PM EST9:06 PM CT6:06 UAE (+1)22:06 ET1:06 - Roethlisberger threw for an even 300 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in the Steelers' season-opening rout of Washington on Monday.
Analysis: Big Ben finished with 27 completions on 37 attempts in a sharp season debut made more impressive that the Steelers were without wideouts Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton. After amassing nearly 4,000 yards and 21 touchdowns despite missing four games in 2015, he's clearly a worthy starting option.
Aug. 26, 20167:48 PM PT8:48 PM MT9:48 PM CT10:48 PM ET2:48 GMT10:48 AM 北京时间7:48 PM MST9:48 PM EST9:48 PM CT6:48 UAE (+1)22:48 ET1:48 - Roethlisberger had quite a preseason debut Friday, torching the Saints for 148 yards and two TD passes on his only two series.
Analysis: Roethlisberger, who sat out of the first two preseason games, opened by leading a 14-play, 76-yard drive on which he converted two third downs and found tight end Jesse James for a 5-yard score. His next series was highlighted by his 57-yard scoring pass down the left sideline to Antonio Brown. Roethlisberger finished 12 of 17.
