Feb. 24 11:18 AM PT12:18 PM MT1:18 PM CT2:18 PM ET7:18 PM GMT3:18 AM 北京时间-The Patriots have re-signed Patten, a key offensive contributor in the early part of the last decade when the team won three Super Bowls.
Analysis: Patten played in 54 regular-season and six playoff games with the Patriots from 2001-2004. He caught a touchdown pass from Tom Brady in the 20-17 upset of the St. Louis Rams in the 2002 Super Bowl. After leaving New England, the 35-year-old played for Washington and New Orleans. He was out of football in 2009 after being released by the Cleveland Browns in training camp.
Mar. 23 4:30 PM PT5:30 PM MT6:30 PM CT7:30 PM ET12:30 AM GMT8:30 AM 北京时间-Patten has rejoined the Cleveland Browns, signing a free-agent deal with his former team.
Analysis: Patten, who played for the Browns in 2000, spent the past two seasons with New Orleans. The signing Monday of the 34-year-old Patten gives the Browns a veteran presence, and he could be insurance pending toxicology reports on wide receiver Donte Stallworth, who struck and killed a pedestrian with his Bentley in Miami Beach on March 14. He has 324 catches for 4,715 yards and four touchdowns in 147 regular-season games in 12 NFL seasons.
Feb. 12 2:30 PM PT3:30 PM MT4:30 PM CT5:30 PM ET10:30 PM GMT6:30 AM 北京时间-New Orleans released Patten on Thursday.
Analysis: The 34-year-old Patten had 11 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown in five games last season. In 2007, he had 54 catches for 792 yards and three touchdowns.
