Analysis: Hernandez's eight catches matched a season high set the previous week against Miami. While he's greatly benefited from Rob Gronkowski's absence, Hernandez should continue to see plenty of balls thrown his way even when Gronkowski returns.
Nov. 22 3:55 PM PT4:55 PM MT5:55 PM CT6:55 PM ET23:55 GMT7:55 AM 北京时间4:55 PM MST6:55 PM EST5:55 PM CT3:55 UAE (+1)18:55 21:55 - Hernandez is active for the Patriots' game against the New York Jets.
Analysis: Hernandez missed the last three because of a sprained right ankle.
Oct. 26 7:44 AM PT8:44 AM MT9:44 AM CT10:44 AM ET14:44 GMT10:44 PM 北京时间7:44 AM MST9:44 AM EST9:44 AM CT18:44 UAE10:44 12:44 - Hernandez is missing his sixth game on Sunday, and third straight, with an injured right ankle.
Analysis: The Pats likely won't skip a beat with Rob Gronkowski and Wes Welker still on the field, but Hernandez's injury is becoming more concerning as the season moves on.
Oct. 18 10:06 AM PT11:06 AM MT12:06 PM CT1:06 PM ET17:06 GMT1:06 AM 北京时间10:06 AM MST12:06 PM EST12:06 PM CT21:06 UAE13:06 16:06 - Although he was held out of practice Thursday, Hernandez says his ankle is healed after missing nearly four full games with a sprain.
Analysis: Hernandez caught six passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 24-23 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. He should be good to go moving forward.
Sep. 17 12:54 PM PT1:54 PM MT2:54 PM CT3:54 PM ET19:54 GMT3:54 AM 北京时间12:54 PM MST2:54 PM EST2:54 PM CT23:54 UAE15:54 18:54 - New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick says he doesn't know how long tight end Aaron Hernandez will be sidelined with a right ankle injury. Asked Monday if Hernandez broke any bones, Belichick said, "I don't really have any update on his status. I think they're still looking at him."
Analysis: ESPN.com reported that Hernandez would not play Sunday night at the Baltimore Ravens and that, while there is no exact timetable, he likely will not return until October at the earliest. Hernandez was injured in the first quarter of Sunday's 20-18 loss to the Arizona Cardinals while blocking for Julian Edelman, who had just caught a pass. As he was being tackled, Edelman fell on Hernandez's right leg. Hernandez left Gillette Stadium with crutches and a walking boot.
Sep. 16 10:14 AM PT11:14 AM MT12:14 PM CT1:14 PM ET17:14 GMT1:14 AM 北京时间10:14 AM MST12:14 PM EST12:14 PM CT21:14 UAE13:14 16:14 - Hernandez's return to Sunday's game is questionable after he suffered an ankle injury.
Analysis: Hernandez was hurt with 6:38 left in the first quarter against the Arizona Cardinals while trying to block for Julian Edelman, who had just caught a 6-yard pass from Tom Brady. Hernandez stayed on the ground for several minutes and appeared to be favoring his right leg as he was helped to the sideline. Hernandez had six catches in the Patriots season-opening 34-13 win over the Tennessee Titans but none on Sunday.
Aug. 27 10:52 AM PT11:52 AM MT12:52 PM CT1:52 PM ET17:52 GMT1:52 AM 北京时间10:52 AM MST12:52 PM EST12:52 PM CT21:52 UAE13:52 16:52 - The New England Patriots gave Hernandez a new, five-year contract on Monday.
Analysis: The deal is worth $40 million, according to reports, and comes just months after the team locked up another All-Pro tight end, Rob Gronkowski, through 2019. Hernandez's deal with run through 2018, and his base salaries of $545,000 and $570,000 for the next two seasons, respectively, will remain intact
