Freshman Young leads Oklahoma over UTSA

(TSX / STATS) -- Oklahoma freshman Trae Young, the nation's leading scorer, poured in 28 points to lead the Sooners to a 97-85 win over the Texas San Antonio on Monday night at the Lloyd Noble Center in Noman, Okla.

Young, who had scored at least 30 points in three straight games, and was averaging 28.8 points per game. He scored 18 points in the first half to spark the Sooners to a 42-37 halftime lead.

Young, who also ranks third in the nation in assists (8.8 per game), dished out eight dimes and grabbed five rebounds as the Sooners (6-1) won their fourth straight.
