Ole Miss overwhelms South Alabama

(TSX / STATS) -- Senior forward Sebastian Saiz recorded a double-double while pacing a balanced Ole Miss attack, and the Rebels hammered South Alabama 92-58 Thursday at The Pavilion at Ole Miss in Oxford, Miss.

Saiz finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds for the Rebels (8-3), who won their third in a row ahead of a home date against No. 6 Kentucky on Dec. 29 to open Southeastern Conference play.

Junior guard Deandre Burnett, the Rebels' leading scorer, came off the bench and scored 21 points, and junior forward Justas Furmanavicius finished with 13 points. Junior guard Cullen Neal added 11 point for the Rebels.
